No-bake candy corn cheesecake jars with yellow orange and white layers

No-bake candy corn cheesecake jars borrow the familiar yellow, orange, and white color bands of the classic Halloween candy while keeping the flavor vanilla-forward and creamy. Individual jars make the dessert easy to chill, transport, and serve without slicing.

The base is a buttery graham layer, followed by two lightly colored cheesecake layers and a natural white top. Candy corn is used as a small garnish rather than the main flavor, so the jars stay balanced.

Why these cheesecake jars work

Whipped cream lightens the cream-cheese base and helps the colored layers hold a clean boundary. Gel color adds strong color without thinning the filling. Small straight-sided jars make the candy-corn pattern visible from every angle.

Ingredient notes

Use full-fat block cream cheese for the most stable texture. It should be fully softened before mixing to prevent lumps. Yellow and orange gel colors are concentrated, so begin with a toothpick amount and build gradually.

Create clean color bands

Divide the filling evenly into three bowls. Tint one yellow and one orange, leaving the third white. Pipe or spoon the yellow layer first, wipe the inside of the glass if needed, then repeat with orange and white. A piping bag gives the neatest edges.

Success tips

  • Whip the cream to medium-stiff peaks before folding.
  • Mix each color gently so the filling stays airy.
  • Chill the jars before adding the final garnish.
  • Keep the layers level for the clearest candy-corn effect.

Substitutions and variations

Vanilla wafer crumbs can replace graham crumbs. Add orange zest to the orange layer for a creamsicle variation, or use lemon zest in the yellow layer. For smaller portions, assemble the dessert in clear two-ounce cups.

Storage and make-ahead

Cover and refrigerate the jars for at least four hours and up to three days. Add whipped cream and candy corn shortly before serving because the candy can soften and release color in humid refrigeration.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make one large cheesecake?

The filling is designed for jars and will be softer than a sliceable cheesecake. Use a springform recipe formulated with a stabilizer for clean wedges.

Why are my layers blending?

The filling may be too warm or loose. Chill each colored bowl for 10 minutes, then pipe the layers gently without pressing down.

Description

Individual vanilla cheesecake jars layered in classic yellow, orange, and white candy-corn colors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) fine graham-cracker crumbs
  • 4 tbsp (57 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (25 g) granulated sugar
  • 16 oz (454 g) full-fat block cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup (90 g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream
  • Yellow gel food coloring, as needed
  • Orange gel food coloring, as needed
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sweetened whipped cream, for garnish
  • 24 candy corn pieces (about 72 g), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the graham crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until evenly moistened. Divide among eight 4-oz (120 ml) clear jars and press gently into level crusts.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until completely smooth.
  3. In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream to medium-stiff peaks. Fold it into the cream-cheese mixture in three additions.
  4. Divide the filling evenly among three bowls. Tint one bright yellow and one pumpkin orange, leaving the third white.
  5. Pipe or spoon the yellow filling over every crust, followed by equal orange and white layers. Smooth each layer gently without mixing the colors.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Just before serving, add a small whipped-cream dollop and three candy corn pieces to each jar.

Notes

For the sharpest bands, chill the filled piping bags for 10 minutes before assembling the jars.
